Electricity from Biocarbon

Coal is used to produce over 50% of the electricity we use in the US.  We have an extensive infrastructure to support coal, from the power plants to the rail cars tailored for its transportation.  Coal is the fuel that brought us into the industrial age and it will be some time before we have an economic alternative.  Coal is the least expensive fuel used for the production of electricity as well as the dirtiest and highest emitter of carbon dioxide per unit energy.

Biocarbon is a clean, carbon neutral drop in fuel replacement for coal power plants.  Unlike coal, biocarbon is carbon neutral, produces little harmful sulfur and no mercury emissions.  Also, there are no mine tailings to manage.
