THE NEXT STEP

Based on the test results obtained from the initial reactor built by ASE Industries, we have determined that the industrial machinery used in an existing process can, with some modifications, be made to operate as a continuous flow biomass to biocarbon reactor.

In the first phase, ASE Industries will build a small scale continuous flow reactor.  This will enable us to determine what modifications are needed to convert the industrial machinery to a biomass reactor.  It will also allow us to work on modifications to increase the system’s efficiency.  Although this first reactor is small scale it will be capable of producing one to two hundred of pounds per hour of biocarbon depending on the feedstock.  We will use this reactor to produce saleable quantities of biochar.

The second phase will incorporate the information obtained in phase one to design a production scale unit for mobile applications.  We will also design one that can be used as a modular unit.  This will enable a number of units to be used together to accommodate sites with a higher continuous biomass conversion need.

ASE Industries has associated itself with a company that produces industrial machinery that can be modified into a continuous flow biomass reactor. This company has been building that machinery for over 50 years.  They will assist us in development and will build production quantities of the biomass reactors.

We have also added to our team a company which specializes in the development of chemical processes.  This company has over 30 years of experience.  We will look to them for assistance in ensuring the highest efficiency obtainable with our process.

We are currently seeking funding for the next phase to construct a small scale continuous flow reactor.
